Ukraine-US fund makes first investment in tech firm
The Ukraine-US reconstruction fund approved its first investment in Sine Engineering today. The Lviv firm provides tech for 150 drone manufacturers nationwide.
The joint reconstruction fund established by Ukraine and the United States has officially approved its first investment project, targeting the expansion of domestic technology manufacturing. The inaugural funding is designated for Sine Engineering, a Lviv-based firm specializing in communications and navigation systems.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported that the fund has received over 200 applications, with a significant majority focused on the energy sector. The selection of Sine Engineering highlights the importance of dual-use technology, as the company's systems are currently utilized by 150 Ukrainian manufacturers of drones and interceptor platforms.
