Ukraine and Latvia Sign Drone Defense Cooperation Deal
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy signed a drone technology agreement with Latvia during a summit in Tallinn to share battlefield expertise and launch joint production. The deal comes as the Kremlin claims Europe is not yet ready to mediate peace talks following a shift in U.S. diplomatic focus.
Ukraine signed a drone defense and co-production agreement with Latvia on June 9. Latvia is the sixth nation to join Kyiv’s drone initiative as Baltic airspace incursions increase. The deal converts Ukrainian battlefield expertise into tangible defense technology to secure NATO-aligned borders.
