This capital injection represents the largest seed financing ever recorded in Europe, valuing the firm at $5.1 billion. The round was led by prominent venture capital firms from the United States, including Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed, with significant strategic participation from industry leaders NVIDIA CORP and ALPHABET INC-CL A.
Founded by former DeepMind researcher and University College London professor David Silver, Ineffable Intelligence is focused on developing a "superlearner." Unlike traditional AI models that rely on massive datasets of human-generated information, this technology is designed to discover knowledge through its own experience, ranging from basic motor skills to complex intellectual breakthroughs.
