UK house prices rose 1.2 percent in year to February

British house prices grew by 1.2 percent in the year to February according to official data. Meanwhile annual rental growth slowed to 3.4 percent in March.

Residential property values in the United Kingdom experienced a modest acceleration in growth during the early months of the year, according to official data released on Wednesday. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) reported that house prices rose by 1.2% in the year to February, representing a slight uptick from the 1.0% annual increase recorded in the year to January.
