UBS Group AG has significantly revised its 2026 debt-market forecasts, raising its outlook for technology bond issuance while slashing expectations for leveraged loans. The Switzerland CHCH-based bank now projects US USUS investment-grade technology bond issuance to reach $360 billion, up from a previous estimate of $300 billion. Conversely, the forecast for the U.S. leveraged loans market has been lowered to $360 billion from $450 billion, citing the potential for artificial intelligence-related disruption to curb supply.
