The TSX rose 0.3% as tech shares led a recovery from intraday lows. Hopes for an end to the Middle East conflict helped cool oil prices and inflation fears.

Canada's primary stock index bounced back from sharp early losses on Monday, buoyed by a rally in technology stocks and growing optimism for a resolution to Middle East tensions. The S&P/TSX Composite Index finished the day up 105.6 points, or 0.3%, at 33,189.32, recovering from its lowest intraday point since February 6.
