Wei signaled potential price hikes for advanced semiconductors as the world's largest contract chipmaker targets growth through the artificial intelligence boom. The company’s share price rose to T$2,425 by Wednesday, a 155% increase from T$950 one year earlier. This pricing strategy reflects the critical role the manufacturer plays in providing the high-performance hardware necessary to sustain global AI development.
