President Donald Trump posted on social media more than half an hour before the government release of fourth-quarter US USUS gross domestic product data on Friday, calling the economic reading disappointing. In his public comments, Trump attributed roughly 1.15 percentage points of the 1.4% annualized growth rate to a 43-day federal government shutdown that impacted various operations across the country.
