Bessent says US could remove more Russian oil sanctions

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced on Friday that the United States is considering the removal of sanctions on additional oil supplies from Russia. This development follows a 30-day waiver recently issued by Washington, which permitted the sale of Russian crude oil currently stranded at sea to continue its transit to India.
