Trafigura finances Ghana gold mine restart with offtake deal
Trafigura has signed a deal to purchase 700,000 ounces of gold from the Bogoso-Prestea mine in Ghana. The firm is also providing 65 million dollars in debt.

Global commodities trader Trafigura Funding SA has entered into a strategic offtake agreement with Heath Goldfields Ltd, a mining company based in Ghana. Under the terms of the arrangement, the firm will purchase 700,000 ounces of Gold doré from the Bogoso–Prestea mine located in the western region of the country.
