Toyota Motor Corporation will recall more than 560,000 locally manufactured vehicles in China starting next month, according to a statement from the national market regulator on Friday. The recall is being conducted through the automaker's joint ventures with GAC and FAW due to safety concerns involving flawed back seat designs. The affected fleet includes 317,990 Highlander SUVs and 242,170 Crown Kluger SUVs, totaling 560,160 units. The recall process is scheduled to begin in April to address the identified design flaws and ensure passenger safety.
