Tesla raises Berlin battery plant investment by 250 million

Tesla will increase its investment in battery cell production at its Berlin plant by nearly $250 million. The move aims to boost annual capacity from 8 to 18 gigawatt hours while creating over 1,500 new jobs. The company currently employs 11,000 people at the Gruenheide site.
