Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles reported a 31.7% drop in fourth-quarter profit to 57.83 billion rupees ($603.89 million) for the period ended March 31. The result fell from 84.7 billion rupees a year earlier as headwinds at the Jaguar Land Rover unit pressured the bottom line. The earnings decline highlights the vulnerability of India's largest automaker to global trade disruptions and supply chain shocks.
