The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has decided to keep its overnight policy rate steady at 7.75%, a move that aligns with the expectations of a dozen economists surveyed by Reuters. This decision marks the continuation of the CBSL's monetary policy stance, which has remained unchanged since May, as the bank aims to steer inflation towards its target of 5%.
