Spanish Firm Exolum Pledges 320 Million Dollars to UK
Spanish storage company Exolum will invest 240 million pounds in Britain. Finance minister Rachel Reeves announced the deal during her official trip to Madrid.
The Spanish liquid storage firm Exolum is set to invest 240 million pounds, equivalent to approximately $320 million, into the United Kingdom. This announcement was made on Wednesday by the British government, highlighting a significant expansion of commercial operations between the two nations.

The investment details were unveiled during a diplomatic visit to Spain by the British Finance Minister, Rachel Reeves. While in Madrid, Reeves emphasized the importance of fostering stronger economic partnerships and securing foreign direct investment to support national infrastructure and energy storage capabilities.
This capital injection by Exolum represents a major commitment to the British energy and logistics sector. The move comes as the government seeks to bolster its industrial strategy through international cooperation. The exchange rate at the time of the announcement was noted at 0.7491 pounds to the US dollar.
