The investment firm SOFTBANK GROUP CORP has raised a combined $3.4 billion through a series of dollar and euro-denominated bond sales. According to a filing on Thursday, the Japan-based company secured $1.5 billion from a U.S. dollar offering and 1.75 billion euros ($2.06 billion) from a euro-denominated issuance. This capital move is intended to refinance existing debt and partially repay a bridge loan used for follow-on investments in OpenAI.
