Singapore core inflation rises to 1.4 percent in February

Singapore core inflation rose to 1.4 percent in February which was slightly higher than expected. Headline inflation reached 1.2 percent during the same period.

Singapore's key consumer price gauge rose by 1.4% in February compared to the previous year, according to official data released on Monday. This core inflation rate, which excludes the costs of private road transport and accommodation, was slightly higher than the 1.3% median forecast predicted by economists in a Reuters poll.
