Singapore has announced its intention to engage with the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) to seek clarification regarding trade data and Section 301 investigations. The move follows a new trade probe launched by the administration of President Donald Trump, which targets excess industrial capacity in 16 major trading partners as part of an effort to rebuild tariff pressure.
