Russia to build first nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan
Russia and Kazakhstan have signed an agreement to construct a 15 billion dollar nuclear power plant in the village of Ulken. Russia will provide an export credit to finance 85 percent of the project, which aims to deliver 2.4 gigawatts of capacity by 2035.
