RTX Corporation reported fourth-quarter 2025 revenue of $24.24 billion, representing a 12 percent increase from the same period last year. Adjusted profit reached $1.55 per share for the quarter, compared with $1.54 in the fourth quarter of 2024. Following the announcement, shares of the Arlington, Virginia-based company rose 1.7 percent in early trading as investors reacted to the earnings beat.
The performance was led by the engine business, Pratt and Whitney, which posted a 25 percent rise in adjusted sales during the fourth quarter. This growth was supported by commercial aircraft maintenance and repair services as a global shortage of new aircraft forced airlines to rely on older fleets. Pratt and Whitney produces engines for Airbus SE A320neo jets as well as the F135 turbofan engine, which powers all variants of the F-35 fighter jet manufactured by Lockheed Martin Corporation .
