ROBINHOOD MARKETS INC - A reported a first-quarter profit of $346 million, or 38 cents per share, on Tuesday. This compares to a $336 million profit, or 37 cents per share, during the same period last year. Higher trading volume from geopolitical volatility and artificial intelligence speculation drove the 3% earnings increase.
Transaction-based revenue at Robinhood rose 7% to $623 million. This growth was led by increased activity in options and equities as retail investors reacted to market shifts in the United_States.
