Rivian Surpasses First Quarter Vehicle Delivery Estimates
Rivian reported today that it delivered 10,365 vehicles in the first quarter, beating estimates. The firm also maintained its annual delivery forecast.
RIVIAN AUTOMOTIVE INC-A has exceeded analyst expectations for its first-quarter vehicle deliveries, suggesting a stabilization in demand for its electric SUVs and R1T pickup trucks. This recovery follows a period of decline last year triggered by the expiration of federal electric vehicle tax credits in the United States.
Between January and March, the Irvine, California-based automaker delivered 10,365 vehicles, surpassing the 9,678 units projected by Visible Alpha. In addition to the delivery beat, the company reaffirmed its full-year delivery guidance, maintaining a target range of 62,000 to 67,000 vehicles.
