The Republic of the Congo has reportedly signaled to investors that it has formally requested a new financing arrangement from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), according to sources familiar with the matter. This development follows the completion of the nation's most recent three-year loan program in March 2025, which facilitated the disbursement of approximately $430 million.
