Prysmian Q4 Profit Rises 20 Percent and Sets 2026 Outlook
The Italian cable maker reported a fourth-quarter adjusted core profit of 622 million euros today. The group expects 2026 earnings to reach 2.78 billion euros.
The cable manufacturer Prysmian S.p.A., which is headquartered in Italy, reported a 20% increase in its fourth-quarter adjusted core profit on Thursday, reaching 622 million euros ($735 million). Although this represents significant growth, the figure was slightly lower than the 635 million euros average forecast by analysts. This performance was largely supported by strong margin expansion within the group's transmission business.
Looking ahead to 2026, the company expects adjusted core profit to range between 2.63 billion and 2.78 billion euros, up from 2.40 billion euros last year. This forecast aligns with the analyst consensus of 2.73 billion euros for the period. However, the outlook remains subject to changes in international trade policy, as the company clarified its position regarding potential economic barriers.
