Pepco Group Reaffirms Full Year Targets After Sales Growth
European retailer Pepco Group remains confident in its annual guidance despite geopolitical uncertainty. The firm reported a 3.7 percent revenue increase.
European discount retailer PEPCO GROUP NV has reaffirmed its full-year financial targets, expressing confidence in its ability to meet previously established guidance despite a challenging global landscape. The company noted that it remains on track to deliver results in line with the outlook set out in December, even as geopolitical tensions and shifting consumer behaviors create an uncertain backdrop for the retail sector. In a trading update covering the 25 weeks ending March 22, which represents nearly the first half of the current fiscal year, the group reported steady growth across its operations. Total revenue for the period increased by 3.7% on a constant currency basis. This performance was supported by a 3.1% rise in like-for-like revenue, indicating resilient demand across its existing store network. The company's ability to maintain its growth trajectory comes amid broader economic pressures affecting the European discount market. By sticking to its December guidance, the retailer signals a stable operational footing as it navigates the remainder of the fiscal year.
