Pemex reports 8.62 million dollar fourth quarter loss
The Mexican state energy company Pemex reported a net loss of 155.23 million pesos for the final quarter of last year. Revenues reached 362.45 billion pesos.
The state-owned energy company of Mexico, Petroleos Mexicanos (known as Pemex), reported a net loss of 155.23 million pesos, or approximately $8.62 million, for the fourth quarter of the previous year. According to a filing submitted to the national stock exchange on Friday, the company generated revenues totaling 362.45 billion pesos during the same period.

The financial results reflect the company's performance as of the end of December, calculated using an exchange rate of 18.0080 Mexican pesos per U.S. dollar. This disclosure provides a snapshot of the fiscal challenges facing the energy producer during the final months of the fiscal year as it navigated fluctuating market conditions.
