Pearson profit rises 6 percent as AI scaling continues

The company recorded a 6% increase in adjusted operating profit, driven largely by the integration of artificial intelligence across its diverse product range.

For the 2025 fiscal year, the group reported an adjusted operating profit of £614 million ($830 million). This performance was supported by total sales reaching £3.58 billion, which allowed the company to expand its profit margin to 17.2%. The results reflect a steady growth trajectory as the business continues to modernize its educational offerings.
The company expects profit to increase by as much as 11%, at the top end of its range, in 2026.
