Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have made considerable progress in talks regarding the country's latest bailout reviews, though a staff-level agreement has yet to be finalized. Discussions are set to continue as officials evaluate the potential impact of the Middle East conflict on the national economy.
"While considerable progress was made in the discussions, these will continue in the coming days," stated IMF mission chief Iva Petrova in an end-of-mission statement.
