Ola Electric has announced plans to reduce its operating costs by up to 50% in the coming quarters, a move aimed at fundamentally shifting its path toward profitability. This announcement follows the company’s third-quarter results, which featured a narrower loss. The company stated that the planned cost reduction is intended to lower its overall operating expenses and materially improve its operating leverage.
The manufacturer projects that these measures will cause monthly operating expenses to fall from 4.84 billion rupees to a range of 2.5 billion to 3 billion rupees. By achieving these targets, the company expects to lower the monthly sales volume required to reach an operating profit to 15,000 units. This structural change is a key part of the company's efforts to stabilize its financial position within India
