Oil prices climbed on Friday as markets reacted to ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, though benchmarks remained on track for their first weekly decline since the start of the conflict. Brent Crude Oil futures rose by $1.87, or 1.73%, to reach $109.88 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate futures gained $1.57, or 1.66%, to trade at $96.05.
