OVERSEA-CHINESE BANKING CORP will acquire HSBC HOLDINGS PLC’s Indonesian wealth and premier banking portfolio for a premium of up to S$480M. The deal adds S$6.6B in assets under management and 336,000 customers to OCBC’s operations in Indonesia. This acquisition increases OCBC’s Indonesian AUM by 25% as Singapore’s second-largest bank expands its footprint in Southeast Asia.
