Nordex targets US growth after reporting record annual profits

The German wind turbine maker reported a surge in 2025 earnings and raised margin targets. CEO Jose Luis Blanco aims to regain a 20% share of the US market.

Nordex shares jumped 13.4% at the market open on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, after the company reported 2025 EBITDA of €631 million, significantly beating the company-provided consensus estimate of €472 million. The wind turbine manufacturer also achieved a record order intake of 10.2 GW for the second consecutive year and raised its mid-term EBITDA margin target to 10–12%. These results, combined with a signal that the company plans to pursue expansion into the United States USUS, have materially altered financial expectations and could impact Nordex’s market positioning and growth strategy.
