Global packaging leader MONDI PLC has announced plans to implement price hikes across its product lines to offset rising operational expenses triggered by the conflict in Iran. The company expects the full impact of these pricing adjustments to be reflected in its third-quarter financial results.

As a major supplier of containerboard, paper bags, and printing materials, the group has been navigating a difficult period characterized by a prolonged slowdown in industry demand. Prior to the recent geopolitical instability, the firm had already initiated significant cost-cutting measures, including plant closures, business reorganizations, and workforce reductions. However, the escalation of regional conflict has further complicated the operating environment by driving up the costs of raw materials, energy, and logistics.
