The Italian luxury group MONCLER SPA reported a 6% increase in its first-quarter revenues, driven primarily by robust demand across Asian markets. Based in Italy, the outerwear specialist saw its quarterly sales reach 881 million euros, equivalent to approximately $1 billion based on the EUR/USD exchange rate. This performance exceeded the analyst consensus of 841 million euros previously provided by the company.

When excluding currency fluctuations, the group's revenue growth reached 12%. The flagship Moncler brand experienced significant momentum in China and South Korea, which remain critical drivers for the company's global expansion. However, the brand faced headwinds in Europe and the Middle East, where a slowdown in international tourism impacted retail traffic.

In the Americas, the brand's sales trajectory showed a divergence depending on currency accounting. While revenue in the region climbed 7% at constant exchange rates, the figure represented a 2% decline when converted to reporting currencies. The results highlight the ongoing volatility in global luxury markets as consumer behavior shifts across different geographic segments.
