MFE MediaForEurope Net Profit More Than Doubles in 2025
Broadcaster MFE reported its 2025 net profit more than doubled from the previous year. CEO Pier Silvio Berlusconi noted improving advertising trends for March.
MFE-Mediaforeurope N.V. announced on Wednesday that its net profit for 2025 more than doubled compared to the 137.9 million euros ($158.86 million) reported in 2024. CEO Pier Silvio Berlusconi shared the preliminary results during a press conference in Italy, noting that the figures include the full fourth-quarter contribution from German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. The company is expected to release its finalized full-year earnings report next month.
Berlusconi acknowledged a challenging start to the year for the advertising sector across Spain and Germany, as well as the domestic market. However, he indicated that early indicators for March suggest a positive trend reversal.
"The advertising outlook is improving, despite the conflict."
"We do not have any warning over the advertising market for now."
Berlusconi stated that initiatives to reduce costs and generate fresh revenue from the acquisition are progressing faster than internal projections. The broadcaster remains committed to its long-term goal of contributing 315 million euros to its operating profit within four years as a result of the integration.
