The company, which operates Malaysia Airlines, cited sustained travel demand and enhanced network optimization as the primary drivers behind the improved financial results. Financial data released on Thursday shows that Malaysia Aviation Group achieved a net profit after interest and tax of 137 million ringgit ($34.08 million). This performance marks a notable jump from the 54 million ringgit profit recorded in the preceding year. The group is owned by Khazanah Nasional, the sovereign wealth fund of the country. These results highlight a period of growth for the carrier as it continues to refine its operations and capitalize on the recovering global travel market.
