Mahindra Logistics Posts Sharp Rise in Quarterly Profit
The company reported a consolidated net profit of 201.9 million rupees for the quarter ending in March. Growth was driven by strong contract logistics demand.
MAHINDRA LOGISTICS LTD has reported a significant surge in its financial performance for the fourth quarter, with net profits increasing six-fold on a sequential basis. The company, based in India, recorded a consolidated net profit of 201.9 million rupees ($2.15 million) for the three-month period ending March, compared to 32.5 million rupees in the preceding quarter.
This result marks the second consecutive profitable quarter for the firm since returning to the black in December, effectively ending a loss-making streak that began in October 2023. The growth was primarily driven by a robust performance in the contract logistics sector and strategic improvements in express operations.
