M&G reports flat annual profit and improved client flows
British insurer M&G reported an adjusted operating profit of 838 million pounds for 2025. The firm saw improved client flows and raised its full-year dividend.
The United Kingdom-based insurer M&G plc has reported a stable annual profit for the 2025 financial year, alongside a notable recovery in investment management flows. The company reiterated its commitment to its 2027 financial targets, pointing to a strengthening momentum in client activity.

Adjusted operating profit for the year reached 838 million pounds ($1.1 billion), which remains broadly consistent with the results from the previous year. Reflecting this stability, the firm announced a full-year dividend of 20.5 pence per share, representing a marginal increase from the 20.1 pence paid out previously.
A significant factor in the firm's recent performance has been its strategic alliance with Japan's Dai-ichi Life Holdings, Inc.. This partnership, initiated last year, has been instrumental in driving net inflows from open business to 7.8 billion pounds, up from 1.9 billion pounds in the prior year.
While the company still recorded overall net outflows when including its closed business, the figures showed a marked improvement. Total net outflows for the year were reduced to 1.6 billion pounds, down from 9.5 billion pounds in the previous reporting period. As of the end of the year, M&G reported total assets under management of 375.9 billion pounds.
