Abdulhamid Dbeibahmade the announcement on X, stating that the project is projected to generate approximately $500 million in annual operating revenues once completed. Beyond the financial returns, the development is forecasted to create 8,400 direct jobs and around 60,000 indirect jobs. The expansion plan aims to increase the port terminal capacity to 4 million containers annually, representing a major leap from current levels.
