Libya Mabruk Field Output to Reach 30,000 Barrels Daily
Libya Mabruk oil field is increasing output to 30,000 barrels daily. Total production should hit 40,000 barrels per day by the end of March using a new unit.
Libya's state-owned National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a significant ramp-up in production at the al-Mabruk oilfield, with initial pumping rates projected to reach between 25,000 and 30,000 barrels per day (bpd). The resumption of increased activity at the field began on Saturday following the successful commissioning of a new early production unit.
Mabruk Oil Operations, which manages the site, operates as a joint venture involving the NOC and TotalEnergies SE. According to a statement released on Sunday, technical teams are currently working to elevate the company's total output from both the al-Mabruk and Al-Jurf fields to approximately 40,000 bpd by the end of March. This development is a key component of the nation's strategy to stabilize its contributions to the global supply of Brent Crude Oil.
