The deal strengthens Tamil Nadu's position as a manufacturing hub while diversifying the engineering firm's portfolio into high-growth digital sectors.
### Scaling Digital Infrastructure and Electronics Larsen and Toubro will allocate 150 billion rupees to expand a data centre in Kancheepuram. This specific project is expected to create 500 new jobs in the region, the state government said on June 4.
