The European Union is exploring alternative mechanisms to circumvent a veto by Hungary regarding a proposed 90 billion euro ($103 billion) loan to Ukraine, according to statements made by EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas on Thursday. Speaking to reporters ahead of a European Council summit in Brussels, Kallas emphasized that while workarounds exist, they will require significant resolve from member states.
There are alternatives, but lets see how this goes. It will also need some political character from all of us.
