The nation's factory output declined by 2.1% compared to the previous month, a figure that aligned precisely with the median forecast provided by market analysts. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry conducted a survey among manufacturers to gauge future expectations. Despite the recent dip, the outlook for the coming months remains positive. Businesses surveyed anticipate a recovery in the near term, with seasonally adjusted output projected to rise by 3.8% in March and follow with a further gain of 3.3% in April.
