The currency closed at 94.1050 against the U.S. dollar, a daily decline of 0.3%, as geopolitical tensions and rising energy costs continue to pressure the domestic economy in India. This weekly slide of over 1% coincides with a sharp rally in global energy benchmarks, including Brent Crude Oil and West Texas Oil, which have surged nearly 15% due to stalled negotiations between the United States and Iran.
