The currency of India recorded gains on Friday, bolstered by strategic interventions from the central bank aimed at managing dollar demand from state-run oil firms. This recovery follows a period of significant underperformance for the rupee, which reached a record low of 95.21 per dollar in late March. By the close of Friday's session, the currency settled at 92.9250, having reached an intraday peak of 92.66.
