The India-flagged oil tanker Jag Prakash, which is transporting Gasoline from Oman to Africa, has successfully set sail from the eastern side of the Strait of Hormuz. An Indian government official confirmed the vessel's movement on Friday, marking a slight easing in the maritime logjam that has affected regional shipping lanes.
Rajesh Kumar Sinha, the special secretary at the ministry of shipping for India, provided updates on the status of several vessels caught in the region. He noted that while one ship has resumed its journey, others remain stationary due to ongoing tensions.
