India is actively securing alternative energy supplies to stabilize its domestic market. The federal oil ministry confirmed on Wednesday that the government is coordinating new shipments of crude oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) to meet national demand. Sujata Sharma, joint secretary in the federal oil ministry, stated that two LNG cargoes are currently en route to the country. This move highlights the strategic importance of global energy providers like Cheniere Energy, Inc. in the international fuel trade.
