The trade ministry of India has recommended the imposition of anti-dumping duties on a key industrial chemical imported from China after an official investigation determined that low-priced shipments were damaging domestic manufacturers. The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) initiated the probe into 4,4-Diamino Stilbene-2,2-Disulphonic Acid (DASDA) following a formal complaint by the Indian chemical producer Deepak Nitrite Limited.
