The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in India has issued a formal directive barring households equipped with piped natural gas (PNG) connections from using domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) services. Under the newly amended supply order, consumers who have transitioned to piped infrastructure are no longer permitted to retain, obtain, or refill standard cylinders.
