The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has reached a staff-level agreement with Sri Lanka following a review of its economic reform program, a move that is expected to unlock roughly $700 million in financing once approved. While the IMF credited the nation's reforms for supporting a steady recovery, it warned that the country remains highly exposed to the fallout from the conflict involving Iran.
